Venture LLC Hosts Family Weekend Tailgate
KNOXVILLE, TN – Family Weekend festivities extended into the Haslam Business Building on Sat., Sept. 10, with the Venture LLC hosting a tailgate ahead of UT’s matchup with the University of Cincinnati.
More than 100 people were in attendance, including Venture students and family members and the Venture advising staff and peer mentors.
Gathered on the terrace of the Haslam Business Building, attendees enjoyed a catered lunch and one of the best views on campus as the UT Pride of the Southland Band marched below, down Andy Holt Ave. en route to Neyland Stadium.
Venture students and families spent time visiting with the Venture staff, and many used the opportunity to take a guided tour of the building before heading off to the game.
