What's so great about this program?

  • The Global Leadership Scholars program is a fully-integrated program that affects your entire college experience. See the 4-year plan for summer study-abroad (there are other options for semester abroad as well).

  • You pick one of the eight majors in the college with a dual concentration in International Business.

  • You take all available honors courses in the pre-business and business core: Accounting 207, Business Administration 207, Business Administration 357, Economics 207, Statistics 207, Finance 307, and Management 407.

  • You add new (2007) business administration honors courses in your second, third, and fourth years. These courses are only available to GLS participants and allow exploration of many facets of leadership and citizenship.

  • Together, you & your colleagues make up a cohort, and you work together, exploring new frontiers, challenging each other, and interacting with your faculty advisor.

  • We will provide opportunities for financial support. (But you should still apply for university and college scholarships if you qualify.)

  • You and your cohort will participate in energizing enrichment opportunities and cultural activities.
