Podium Use Guide
Leaving the podium in a predictable state is the most important factor in instructors being able to start the podiums.
Shut down depends on whether instructors are the last to use the podium on a particular day.
5.1 End of Day Shut down: Last instructors of the day should put the podium in the system-off state.

5.2 Early in the day shutdown: Instructors using the podium early in the day should prepare the podium for other instructors. Remove any DVDs or USB flash drives.

Remove all USB flash drives or DVDs |

Close all files and select the PC source |

Make sure DVI-to-VGA cable is connected (if removed to connect to Mac) |

Make sure Lapel Mike is replaced (if Lapel Mike is used for audio reinforcement) |

Never shut down Windows XP |

Never turn off the podium monitor |
