Supply Chain Strategy & Management Forum

Dr.Esper

As frontrunners of demand and supply integration, the University of Tennessee’s Department of Marketing & Logistics is committed to fostering an open dialogue between the business community, world-class scholars and students. One of our key tools for interfacing with industry leaders is the Supply Chain Strategy and Management Forum. It is a research-based think tank that brings our faculty together with executives from some of the world’s most progressive companies to address critical supply chain issues affecting profitability at each link along the organizational value chain.

Program Content

Twice a year we ask our Membership what issues they are facing in managing and optimizing their supply chain structures. UT’s Forum faculty -- academic leaders in integrated supply chain management -- then brain storm to craft a meeting agenda that addresses these issues. Thought leaders and senior executives from a broad cross section of industries are invited to present their ideas and insights on these topics. Because our meeting format includes panel discussions, Sponsors have an opportunity to probe, challenge and offer feedback with an immediacy that often leads to unparalleled dialogue. This fusion of speakers from both industry and academia, coupled with Sponsor participation, makes for a dynamic meeting, rich with topical information that is both relevant and actionable.

Who Should Attend

UT’s Supply Chain Strategy & Management Forum is aimed at executives and managers who are seeking a broader perspective on how to optimize their companies’ supply chain to enhance value and profitability.
