NOTES:
- The Level A courses must be an approved sequence.
- The Statistics M.S. requires 33 hours, (IGSP hours plus 9 hours) plus comprehensive
exams.
- Courses taken for the doctoral degree may fulfill requirements for the
M.S. degree in
Statistics.
- Courses taken for the minor or the master’s degree in Statistics may fulfill
requirements for the doctoral program. Contact the home department.
- Some of the Level B hours may be obtained from certain Level A and C courses upon
approval by the IGSP Executive Committee and the student’s home department.
- The student’s home department must verify the fulfillment of non-Statistics degree
requirements.
Statistics course recommendations for specific concentration areas (approved by IGSP
Executive Committee):
Note:
For the minor with the M.S. degree, at least one course must be from the
Statistics Department. For the minor with the Ph.D., at least two
courses must be from the Statistics Department.
M.S. or Ph.D. in Ecology / Minor or M.S. in Statistics
Choose the appropriate hours at the needed levels from all
approved courses.
