NOTES:

  • The Level A courses must be an approved sequence.
  • The Statistics M.S. requires 33 hours, (IGSP hours plus 9 hours) plus comprehensive exams.
  • Courses taken for the doctoral degree may fulfill requirements for the M.S. degree in Statistics.
  • Courses taken for the minor or the master’s degree in Statistics may fulfill requirements for the doctoral program. Contact the home department.
  • Some of the Level B hours may be obtained from certain Level A and C courses upon approval by the IGSP Executive Committee and the student’s home department.
  • The student’s home department must verify the fulfillment of non-Statistics degree requirements.

Statistics course recommendations for specific concentration areas (approved by IGSP Executive Committee):

Ph.D. in Comparative and Experimental Medicine / M.S. in Statistics

                    *Normally a Level A course.

In addition, standard Statistics M.S. requirements are understood to be part of these program requirements. (That is, a total of 33 approved hours of coursework, and Theory and Methods comprehensive exams.)
