NOTES:
- The Level A courses must be an approved sequence.
- The Statistics M.S. requires 33 hours, (IGSP hours plus 9 hours) plus comprehensive
exams.
- Courses taken for the doctoral degree may fulfill requirements for the
M.S. degree in
Statistics.
- Courses taken for the minor or the masters degree in Statistics may fulfill
requirements for the doctoral program. Contact the home department.
- Some of the Level B hours may be obtained from certain Level A and C courses upon
approval by the IGSP Executive Committee and the students home department.
- The students home department must verify the fulfillment of non-Statistics degree
requirements.
Statistics course recommendations for specific concentration areas (approved by IGSP

The usual requirements of the M.S. in Statistics: 24 hours of IGSP courses
plus 9 hours of concentration courses (Ph.D. courses may be double-counted up to a
maximum of 9 hours.) Statistics theory and applied comprehensive examinations.
