Dear Colleagues:

I am delighted to announce that the IGSP Executive Committee has approved 
addition of the minor in Statistics and the MS in Statistics for the PhD 
students in Genome Science and Technology.  Their existing option for  the 
Statistics minor with the MS in GST has also been revised.  Current 
requirements may be found at the IGSP Web site, www.bus.utk.edu/stat/igsp.

Additionally, the requirements for the Comprehensive Examination for 
doctoral students seeking the minor in Statistics have been revised, and 
may be seen at the Web site.
