Master in Business Analytics
Beginning in Fall, 2010, students interested in a Masters degree in Applied Statistics should apply to the Masters in Management Science. The Masters degree in Statistics will only be available to students in the Intercollegiate Graduate Statistics Program (IGSP.)
The Statistics Masters program has long been known for its excellence in educating industrial statisticians. Our recent merger with the Management Science faculty has enlarged our outlook and greatly enhanced our capabilities. Our new Masters in Business Analytics* not only provides a solid foundation in applied statistics, but also provides:
- an understanding of businesses and business processes,
- the analytic skills needed to solve a wide variety of business problems, and
- tools of communication for effectively communicating with business
professionals.
