Thank you for your interest in the University of Tennessee Executive MBA Education Program.  We are delighted that you are considering us as partners in your leadership development. 

The University of Tennessee Executive Education is specifically designed to meet the needs of mid- to senior-level executives who have been identified by their companies as high potential and are being prepared for positions of increased responsibility. 

This difference is evident in both the program structure and the curriculum.

First, the structure of the program allows busy executives to create a shared balance between work, family and school.  Rather than being designed around nights and/or weekends, curriculum is delivered in an executive development format consisting of four, two-week residency periods and fifteen periodic distance learning sessions.  In addition, the program is completed in just one challenging but rewarding year.

Second, all assignments and projects are applied to the workplace and are designed to deliver significant returns for the executive and the sponsoring employer.  The year-long Corporate Action Project challenges executives to address an issue of significant importance to their employer and as a result, organizations often see tremendous financial and operational returns.

The typical University of Tennessee Executive MBA Education student has approximately 10 years of managerial experience and is in (or moving into) a position where his or her decisions impact the organization’s growth and/or strategic direction.
