David M.Gligor is a Ph.D. student in the Marketing and Logistics Department at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. His major is logistics. He has received his B.S. in logistics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and earned his M.B.A. from Kennesaw State University.
David came back to Knoxville from Kennesaw, GA where he spent the last three years working for Hapag-Lloyd in the logistics department. He has also worked in different positions for Ryder Logistics in Knoxville, TN and General Electric in Louisville, KY.
His research interests are in global supply chain, international transportation and environmentally responsible supply chain practices.
David and his wife Nichole have been married since 2003. They met at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville!
