Dr. Michael J. Stahl is Director of the Physician Executive MBA Program and Distinguished Professor of Management in the College of Business at the University of Tennessee , Knoxville . Dr. Stahl received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the State University of NY at Buffalo and his Ph.D. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. From 1982-1989, Mike was Head of the Management Department at Clemson University . He was Associate Dean in the College of Business at UT from 1989-1997. Dr. Stahl has published 56 journal articles and thirteen books. His articles have appeared in outlets such as Academy of Management Journal, Decision Sciences, International Journal of Management, Journal of Social Behavior and Personality and others.
