Dr. Bartley’s primary research interests are in instructional design and the interface of work and family. Designing instructional solutions to solve problems has the potential to improve performance, increase productivity, and improve the lives of workers. Her work currently focuses on rapid instructional design and the use of technology in delivery of instruction. Work issues may impact family life in negative ways; family issues may impact work life in negative ways. Seeking answers to challenging questions about work/family interface can lessen the negative impact between the work place and the home.
