A Welcome from the Department Head:
Welcome to the Department of Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Our department is part of a large and dynamic business school that attracts faculty and students from all over the world.
Our faculty is nationally recognized not only for their scholarly work, but also for their extensive industry and consulting experience. We offer a full range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs and collaterals with course offerings in global entrepreneurship, human resource management, international business, organizational behavior and theory, and strategic management.
Management courses are taught primarily in the Haslam Business Building using classrooms that are equipped with cutting-edge technology. Graduates of our bachelors and masters programs have gone on to rewarding careers in a variety of private and public-sector organizations, and graduates of our Ph.D. program are working in both academia and industry.
