IOPSY 525 Research in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (1-3).
Available only to students admitted to Industrial/Organizational Psychology (IOP) Program or by prearrangement with IOP Program Director. May be repeated. Maximum 6 hrs. S/NC or letter grade.

Basic thought, concepts, and issues required for advanced graduate study in industrial and organizational psychology. Must be taken during student's first year of study in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (IOP) Program. Consent of instructor required for non-IOP Program students.
IOPSY 569 Applied Measurement for Industrial/Organizational Psychology (3).
Basic techniques for collection and evaluation of individual and organizational data using both classical and modern psychometric techniques. Several relevant statistical models will be covered including reliability analysis, and exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses.

IOPSY 625 Topics in Organizational Psychology (3).
In-depth analysis of various topics. Most recently, this course has been used to present the Seminar in Work Teams. This seminar is designed to provide a perspective on team research in I/O psychology. The historical foundations of team research and contemporary team research are covered, and avenues for future research are explored.

Examination of issues related to analysis of organizational data using structural equations and related techniques.

Review of the key domains of social cognition with emphasis on measurement systems which use individual differences in social-cognitive biases as the basis for measuring personality.

Issues involved with ethical practice in research, academic, organizational, and consulting situations.
