A range of study abroad opportunities are available to you as a College of Business Administration students. Your academic advisors and the CIE Programs Abroad Office can help you select the program that is right for you. The options available to you include:
- Group programs arranged and supervised by the College’s departments on a full semester or summer term.
- One to two week study abroad programs offered as part of a course with an international component
- Direct exchange, summer study, and semester abroad programs organized by the Programs Abroad Division of the Center for International Education; and
- Individualized programs designed specifically for you with the assistance of your advisor.
Getting Credit for Study or Work Abroad
If you are planning to study abroad, you must meet with your academic advisor in the Undergraduate Business Advising and Services Office and with Fred Pierce in Aconda Court to discuss opportunities, programs, and curricular issues related to international study. You may also apply for credit to work or intern abroad. To take advantage of the numerous hands-on experiential learning opportunities available abroad click here.
If you wish to get academic credit for your international internship, you must make arrangements through your department for internship credit (492 Off Campus Study). If you wish to have a co-op experience designated on your academic record, you must register through Career Services. In either instance, you must be registered the semester you are engaged in an internship or co-op.
