Getting to Campus
It is very easy to get to campus from the Knoxville airport. Just walk outside the airport and you can catch a taxi cab. The main road (129) next to the airport goes directly next to the campus. The cost of getting from the airport to campus will be about $35-40. If you would like to talk to a taxi service in advance, here are some local transportation service companies.

If a friend is meeting you, please be sure to pick a meeting place and stick to it. Give an alternative just in case something goes wrong. Two of the best meeting places are at the luggage carousel, also known as "baggage claim," and outside the doors of the carousel (if your friend does not want to park and meet you inside).
Please note that the luggage carousels at the airport are often far from the gate, so follow the signs for "baggage claim." Usually, the flights arrive on the second floor and the baggage pick up carousels are located on the 1st floor.
