Forum members participated in education and research initiatives that enhance corporate understanding of the sales forecasting and demand planning functions.  Such initiatives include benchmarks of sales forecasting management and demand planning practices, identification of industry best practices, establishment of sales forecasting management standards, improvement of forecasting methodologies, and other initiatives deemed pertinent by forum sponsors.
