Dwight Thomas is the Senior Manager of Forecasting Process Planning for Alcatel-Lucent. In this position, he is responsible for process planning of the newly created company's global supply chain forecasting process which includes defining process roles and responsibilities, interpreting business requirements for the IT organization, training and supporting over 500 users in 10 Business Divisions and 4 sales regions, and identifying and deploying on-going business process and system enhancements. Dwight has been involved in the field of forecasting for over 30 years, is a frequent conference and academic speaker, and has published several articles. The Alcatel-Lucent unit forecasting process engages sales & marketing, customers, product management, project managers, business divisions, and the supply chain organization.

Product lines include Wireless systems, Optical networking, Access networking, IP & Data Products, and Switching solutions. Alcatel-Lucent provides solutions that enable service providers, enterprises and governments worldwide, to deliver voice, data and video communication services to end-users.
