Fiscal Policy FIO705 - Travel (01/01/2013)
Treasuer Charles (Butch) Peccolo has announced that the following fiscal policy has been revised. The policy is effective January 1, 2013, and is now on the policy website.
- FIO705 - Travel: This policy was revised to clarify processes listed below:
- Direct Bill of Airfare-#25 b and c
- Gas expenses for vehicles assigned to a department-#27
- Claiming mileage expenses for personally owned automobiles-#29
- Passport and visa expenses may be paid prior to the trip-#86
- Process for processing meals purchased at a conference-#94
- Allowing credit card statements to be provided for taxi cab fares provided the statement correctly identifies the company-#106
- Please note the following sentence will be added to the travel expense report that is signed by the traveler - "By signing, I am also certifying that these expenses have not been reimbursed by any other organizations or individuals".
Fiscal Policy FIO717 - Employee Gift Acceptence Policy (01/01/2013)
Treasuer Charles (Butch) Peccolo has announced that the following fiscal policy has been revised. The policy is effective January 1, 2013, and is now on the policy website.
- FIO717 - Employee Gift Acceptance Policy: This policy was revised to clarify the rules concerning gift acceptance.
Fiscal Policy FIO525 - Petty Cash (01/01/2013)
Treasuer Charles (Butch) Peccolo has announced that the following fiscal policy has been revised. The policy is effective January 1, 2013, and is now on the policy website.
- FIO525 - Petty Cash: This policy was revised to clarify several petty cash processes. The major change is dealing with the electronic processing of petty cash reimbursement. The section dealing with paying casual labor through petty cash was deleted. Such payments could caus us to violate IRS regulations.
Fiscal Policy FIO312 - Custody of Third Party Funds (01/01/2013)
Treasuer Charles (Butch) Peccolo has announced that the following fiscal policy has been revised. The policy is effective January 1, 2013, and is now on the policy website.
- FIO312 - Custody of Third Party Funds: This policy was removed from the Receiving and Depositing Money policy to give clarity to the university's obligations. The major change is the requirement for written procedures that are subject to approval by the campus business officer and internal audit.
Fiscal Policy FIO310 - Receiving and Depositing Money (01/01/2013)
Treasuer Charles (Butch) Peccolo has announced that the following fiscal policy has been revised. The policy is effective January 1, 2013, and is now on the policy website.
- FIO310 - Receiving and Depositing Money: This policy was revised to remove the section concerning Third Party funds.
