The FMA is a student organization committed to expanding the academic horizons and career opportunities at the University.

Dues are $30 a year ($15 per semester). To join, see Mrs. Murphy in the Department of Finance, located on the 4th floor of Stokely Management Center, to pick up and fill out an application form. The FMA hosts monthly business speakers, and active members are eligible to take trips to New York or Chicago and Omaha.

Activities:

The association schedules monthly meetings with financial professionals, giving students a chance to learn more about current issues and careers in finance.

The group also organizes two trips each year:

UT is privileged to be among the few schools that Mr. Warren Buffett, legendary investor and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, allows to visit him at his offices in Omaha, Nebraska. The visits to Omaha are in the spring.

Over Fall Break, the FMA travels to New York City to tour the city and to meet with distinguished financial professionals.
