student Financial Management Association at
the University of Tennessee!
The Financial Management Association (FMA) is a student organization committed to expanding the academic horizons and career opportunities at the University of Tennessee.
Dues are $50 per year ($30 per semester). Membership application to join is linked in the right column of this page. The Financial Management Association hosts monthly business speakers, and active members are eligible to take trips to New York or Chicago and Omaha.
Activities:
The FMA schedules monthly meetings with financial professionals, giving students a chance to learn more about current issues and careers in finance.
The group also organizes the following two trips each year:
The university is privileged to be among the few schools that Mr. Warren Buffett, legendary investor and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, allows to visit him at his offices in Omaha, Nebraska. The visits to Omaha are in the spring.
Over fall break, the Financial Management Association travels to New York City to tour the city and meet with distinguished, financial professionals.
