Message from the Dean
As the college continues to grow at a rapid pace, we have to remind ourselves to stop and reflect on all that has happened over the last few months. The first semester in our new James A. Haslam Business Building has drawn to a close and was extremely successful. The students are now able to reserve and access the 35 team rooms throughout the building for group projects and meetings, giving them the opportunity to utilize all of the building’s technological resources. Best of all, the sense of community among our students seems to have jumped overnight, as they now have a place to meet and interact with each other. Over the summer, we will welcome prospective business majors during their orientation visits and before we know it, the fall semester will begin. If you are planning a trip to campus for the fall football season, I hope you will contact us and plan a visit to tour the building. We are proud of our students and this exceptional facility, and know you will be, too. The support of our alumni and friends is vital to the success of the college. Thank you for your continued loyalty and commitment to the University of Tennessee and the College of Business Administration. Warmest regards,
Jan R. Williams |
