College Expresses Pride in Faculty, Staff, and Graduates
Recently, the College of Business Administration had 550 students graduate from the undergraduate program. With incoming class size growing each year, and enrollment in the college at over 5,000 students, the college continues to maintain its place as one of the largest and most accomplished colleges at UT. Many of the college’s top students, faculty, and staff were recognized this spring at the Chancellor’s Honors Banquet, hosted by UT Knoxville’s new chancellor, Jimmy Cheek, and at the College of Business Administration’s Honors Banquet.

Supply Chain and Logistics Faculty Ranks 2nd Worldwide
A study published in the winter issue of Transportation Journal ranks the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Business Administration’s supply chain and logistics faculty second among logistics researchers worldwide. The quarterly journal is one of the top in its field and features original works and research findings on topics relating to supply chain and logistics.

Alumni and Friends Share Professional Experiences with CBA Students
Over the last several years, one of the College of Business Administration’s most effective teaching tools has been the presence of its alumni and friends. In all of the college’s departments, guests have visited various classrooms to share experiences hands-on with College of Business Administration students in both undergraduate and graduate-level programs. The visits represent two of the most valuable assets that alumni can share with their alma mater: time and talent.

Business Competition Offers Unique Experience for Undergraduate Students
This spring, the second annual Business Plan Competition brought students and industry professionals together for an unmatched, hands-on lesson in the art of entrepreneurship. The competition, organized and led by College of Business Administration (CBA) faculty member Tom Graves, was open to all undergraduate students at UT Knoxville.

Richard C. Reizenstein
This spring, the College of Business Administration will celebrate the retirement of one of its most loyal faculty members, Richard C. Reizenstein. Reizenstein, known by friend and colleagues as Dick, is an associate professor of marketing in the Department of Marketing and Logistics and the director of the college’s Executive-in-Residence program.
