Development Update

Chip BryantDear alumni and friends,

This has been an incredibly challenging year for so many Americans. During these unusual times, our faculty and staff have been touched by the continued loyalty and support of so many of our donors. We have reached $89.2 million in gifts to the college in the current campaign—112% of our goal. While we are incredibly proud of this accomplishment, we are also incredibly grateful for all you have done for our students.

This year, we have worked to express our gratitude in a variety of ways. As you have read about in publications from earlier this year, giving societies were created to honor the donors who have shown their commitment to the college through planned gifts, endowments, and leadership level annual gifts. Your response has been overwhelming. The Dean’s Circle, which recognizes those who have given $1,000 or more to the College Fund for Business Administration, has almost 100 members in its first year. These individuals and families, along with all of those who are part of our giving societies, will have their names on a display which hangs in a prominent place just outside of the dean’s suite, where all visitors pass. It is a small token of our appreciation, but one we hope demonstrates the gratitude we have for all of those who have supported us throughout the year.

During the holidays, we should all count our blessings. Thank you for being one of ours.

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of the UT College of Business Administration, best wishes for a happy holiday season and a blessed new year!
