Dear Colleagues,

This email is a special request to participate in a research study that I am conducting along with my colleague Mark Moon.  We’re collecting data to help enhance our understanding of best practices in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).  We’ve created a brief survey that will take you no more than 10 minutes or so to complete, asking about your own S&OP processes.  Nowhere in the survey do we ask for any confidential information about your or your company, and your responses will be completely anonymous.  In our work with dozens of companies, S&OP processes are emerging as critical enablers of Supply Chain excellence, and we believe that greater understanding of current practices is very important.  We will be reporting the results of this data collection at our 8th Annual Sales Forecasting Management Conference in Knoxville in mid-May.
