AIM Leadership Change

Dan MurphyDr. Dan Murphy recently announced his resignation as department head after almost nine years of service. Dan will continue his teaching, research, and other service activities in the department as a full professor. During his time as head, the department realized tremendous growth and improvement. His extraordinary alumni and business connectivity and fundraising efforts allowed the department to expand and deepen its support for our students, faculty, and programs. During Dan's tenure, the department expanded undergraduate scholarships and enrichment programs, introduced the annual Washington, D.C., and China trip to the Master of Accountancy program, and greatly enhanced doctoral student funding. Both students and faculty in the department are grateful for Dan's leadership and the many accomplishments achieved during his tenure.
