Vitae


    
Dr. Baker joined the University of Tennessee as a Lecturer in 2002 and primarily teaches Introductory Economics. He received his Ph.D. in economics, with fields in Applied Microeconomics and Environmental and Natural Resource Economics, from the University of New Mexico. After leaving New Mexico, he worked as a Visiting Instructor at Eastern Kentucky University for two years. After that, he worked as an economic analyst for a consulting firm involved with litigation and dispute resolution for two years in Tampa Bay Florida.

He is a member of the American Economics Association and is a huge Kentucky basketball fan.
