Jane Salter-1995 Distinguished Alumnus
Jane Salter’s extraordinary capabilities earned her a prestigious position few women before her had achieved — partnership in a Big-6 (now Big-4) accounting firm. A 1976 graduate and Torchbearer of the University of Tennessee, Salter has built a reputation for exceptional talent and leadership acumen during her career at Ernst & Young. Moreover, she has given back to her alma mater by serving on the Accounting Advisory Roundtable and by actively mentoring accounting students during her frequent visits to campus. A committed supporter of the Council on Battered Women in Atlanta, Salter is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta and Midtown Alliance’s leadership programs. Her career with Ernst & Young recently has taken her to Tampa, Florida.
