Dennis Hendrix is a retired president, chairman, and chief executive officer of PanEnergy Corporation of Houston, Texas. After graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Business Administration in 1962, Hendrix built a reputation as an international business leader for his extraordinary intellect, bold strategies, and high standards of excellence. Prior to assuming the helm at PanEnergy, his exemplary career included senior leadership and chief executive roles for such well-respected firms as United Foods, Texas Gas Corporation, CSX Corporation, Halliburton Corporation, and Texas Eastern Corporation. Throughout his career, Hendrix has demonstrated his commitment to higher education by being a generous benefactor to the University of Tennessee.
