William Schriver, former Director of Research for the Construction Industry Research and Policy Center, also served as a senior research economist for the Employment Standards Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor. He had extensive teaching and research experience in industrial relations, manpower economics, and labor force studies.
Prior to the establishment of Construction Resources Analysis in the College of Business Administration at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Schriver was the program manager for labor market research at the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and a previous director of both the Center for Manpower Studies at Memphis State University and the Industrial Development Division for the state of Tennessee. Dr. Schriver developed a number of statistical models for use in construction industry analysis.
