Welcome from the Dean
Welcome to the web site of the College of Business Administration at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. We are pleased that you have chosen this way to learn more about our college and to communicate with us.
The college has approximately 5,400 undergraduate majors, 1,500 undergraduate minors, and 700 graduate students in various masters and Ph.D. programs. Our faculty consists of approximately 125 academically and professionally qualified people. We offer a full range of undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. programs, some of which are in fields not usually found in business schools.
One of our biggest assets is the James A. Haslam Business Building, a state-of-the-art facility which includes 34 classrooms, 35 team and presentation rooms, an Investment Learning Center, and a massive atrium that joins a portion of our former building with an all-new classroom facility. This is one of the best planned and forward-looking facilities of its kind anywhere in the world and includes unmatched technology. While we were constructing this building, we were working to add some outstanding new curricula alternatives in international business, entrepreneurship and innovation, and information management. Our students, faculty, programs, and facilities combine to set us on a very positive course for the future.
