UT Business Students Focus of Fox Business Channel The Dave Ramsey Show
WHAT: Students from the University of Tennessee's College of Business Administration will be featured on "The Dave Ramsey Show." Ramsey, a UT alumnus, is a renowned financial author, radio and television host.
WHEN: Airs from 8 to 9 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, Oct. 30.
WHERE: Fox Business Network (Channel 106 on Comcast Cable; Channel 132 on Charter Communications).
Ramsey was on the UT Knoxville campus earlier this month to talk with students and deliver the keynote address at the college's annual scholarship reception. While he was on campus, a Fox camera crew followed Ramsey as he talked to nearly 200 business students about planning for life after college and financial pitfalls sometimes associated with credit card use and student loans.
The show will include excerpts from Ramsey's keynote speech, as well as interviews with Ramsey, several UT students and UT's director of financial aid who discusses ways students can pay for college. Ramsey's daughter, Rachel, a UT student, also is profiled on the segment as she intercepts students on campus asking them about their finances.
