Herman Gray, 2003 Physician Executive MBA graduate,
secures national recognition.
KNOXVILLE, TN — Herman B. Gray, MD, MBA, has been named one of 17 members appointed to the new Medicaid and CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) Payment and Access Commission
(MACPAC). Gray, a 2003 graduate of the University of Tennessee’s Physician Executive MBA program, is president of Children’s Hospital of Michigan and senior vice president of the Detroit Medical Center.
MACPAC selections were made by Gene L. Dodaro, Acting Comptroller General of the United States and head of the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO).
“Many highly qualified individuals sought to serve on the Commission,” Dodaro said. “Those selected bring to MACPAC an impressive range of professional expertise and experience.”
