Nationally Ranked by U.S. News & World Report

Supply Chain / Logistics Program Remains Top-5

KNOXVILLE, TN — The University of Tennessee’s College of Business Administration’s undergraduate program is top-ranked, according to the 2010 U.S. News and World Report.

The college’s supply chain management/logistics offering ranks #5 among top-tier public universities and #7 nationally. UT's undergraduate business program ranks #28 among top-tier public universities and #48 nationally.

“Over the past two years, we’ve seen significant strength in the college’s overall business and supply chain/logistics standings,” said Jan Williams, dean of the College of Business Administration. “We believe that our enhanced focus in international business, supply chain management, and innovation and entrepreneurship has been making a difference for the college.”

UT’s College of Business Administration’s programs are also nationally or internationally ranked in Princeton Review, Forbes, Kaplan Publishing, EdUniversal, Modern Healthcare, Transportation Journal, Journal of Business Logistics, AMR Research, Supply Chain Management Review, and Financial Times.

UT's Graduate Supply Chain/Logistics Program
Ranked Among Nation’s Best

KNOXVILLE, TN —The University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s supply chain and logistics graduate program continued its upward trajectory in U.S. News & World Report's 2010 graduate rankings, rising one spot to #9 in the nation and #5 among all public institutions.

UT’s College of Business Administration’s supply chain and logistics graduate program now has been listed among the world’s best programs by the publication for four consecutive years. 

U.S. News & World Report also top-ranked the College of Business Administration’s full-time MBA program. The program ranked #54 nationally and #27 among public universities in the 2010 report.

College of Business Administration Dean Jan Williams said that this ranking speaks to the quality of all levels of business programs.

"We have one of the foremost supply chain and logistics graduate programs in the world because of the quality of our faculty, students, and curriculum," he said. "This ranking recognizes both the innovative curriculum and strength of our graduate program, but also our strong supply chain and logistics program across all levels of education, from undergraduate through executive education."
