MBA ALUM NAMED COO OF ALCON ENTERTAINMENT

Scott ParishKNOXVILLE, TN —Scott Parish has been promoted to chief operating officer at Warner Bros.-based Alcon Entertainment; Parish is a 1991 graduate of the University of Tennessee’s full-time MBA program.   Parish will retain his title of chief financial officer. 

Parish joined Alcon Entertainment in 2000 as vice president of finance to assist in building the company’s infrastructure into a leading producer and financier in the independent film space. He will continue to be responsible for all finance and operations duties for the company. 

States Alcon co-founders and chief executive officers Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson: “Scott has been invaluable in our efforts to expand and grow the company. We are very gratified that he will shoulder even more responsibilities going forward.”

"Alcon is like my second family,” says Parish. “I'm pleased to have contributed to its foundation and am looking forward to playing an even larger role in the future".

Parish has 17 years of financial and operational management experience in the entertainment industry. Prior to joining Alcon, he spent six years at New Regency as vice president of finance and operations and was a lead liaison in setting up and managing the $600 million Revolving Credit Facility through JP Morgan Chase.
