MBA Students Participate in Habitat for Humanity Build
KNOXVILLE, TN — A group of MBA students, faculty, and soon-to-be homeowners have been working on a Habitat for Humanity house sponsored by the Tennessee Organization of MBA (TOMBA) students. In a single day this September, they built the walls, raised the walls, and put up the roof. They will finish building the house this fall. The homeowner, her mother, and her daughter now are living in a single bedroom in a mobile home that has eight other occupants. As you might expect, they are excited about moving into this house. Through TOMBA, UT’s College of Business Administration is definitely changing lives.
