Deborah joined UT’s Department of Accounting and Information Management after working as a senior auditor in the internal audit department at Assurant Corp. in Miami, Florida, and, prior to that, as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Birmingham, Alabama. She currently holds her CPA license in Alabama. Deborah serves as a lecturer, department placement coordinator, and the Beta Alpha Psi faculty advisor. As placement coordinator, she assists students and firms during the recruitment process. She coaches and mentors students seeking internships and full-time positions and assists firms with recruiting efforts and filling open positions.
