Jon Woodroof joined the accounting faculty in 1999. He has a background in both accounting and information systems. His undergraduate degrees (business management and journalism) are from Harding University, and he has a M.S. from Texas A&M in accounting and a Ph.D. from Texas Tech in information systems. His teaching experience includes E-business, Database, and Accounting Information Systems. His research has been in the areas of user satisfaction and continuous auditing, and he has been published in several accounting and systems journals, including Information & Management, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, Advances in Accounting Information Systems, Information Resource Management Journal, Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, and Journal of Accountancy. He consults for several companies, including Sodexho Marriott and the Krystal Corporation. Jon is the creator and developer of SEDONA, a web-based application that a number of universities are using to help them manage their faculty activities.
