Harry N. Hughes joined the faculty at The University of Tennessee in 1976. He has Bachelor's of Science degrees in Management and Accounting. He has experience in public relations and retail management, as well as public and private accounting. His primary teaching interest is Principles of Accounting. He has received teaching awards from Phi Eta Sigma and concern for students awards from Alpha Kappa Psi. He acts as an assistant to the Department Head and deals with course scheduling, enrollment projections, student disciplinary matters, and deployment of teaching assistants, etc. Mr. Hughes is also Chairman of the Faculty Traffic Appeals Board.
