Ellen B. Anderson joined the faculty of the University of Tennessee in 1985
after completing her Master of Accountancy degree at the University of
Tennessee. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Indiana
University and worked at various levels in public accounting as a Certified
Public Accountant. She teaches and coordinates introductory financial
accounting, and also teaches introductory managerial accounting and federal
income taxation. Mrs. Anderson has won numerous teaching awards,
including the University Provost's Teaching Award in 2002, the Allen H.
Keally Teaching Award in 2001, the Beta Alpha Psi Excellence in Teaching
Award in 2000, and the Phi Eta Sigma Excellence in Teaching Award in 1995.
