Participation in sponsor meetings:

These two-day meetings showcase results of ongoing research in customer value and marketing strategy, stimulate dialogue between faculty and sponsors about process improvement ideas and future research, and enable participants to meet select graduate students associated with the Forum. These meetings will be held once or twice each year, depending on sponsor input.

Priority access to research results:

In addition to articles listed on the web site, sponsors will have priority access to results from recent research through working papers, executive reports, and presentations. This is usually well before formal journal publication.

Evaluations of own processes:

Through dialogue at Forum meetings as well as throughout the year, sponsors have limited access to Forum faculty as a resource in evaluating their own processes. We are currently developing a benchmark database of customer value and related marketing strategy processes. Our aim is to provide sponsors with access to a web-based tool for self-analysis using this database.

Exposure to top marketing students:

Some of our best marketing students, both MBAs and select undergraduates recommended by key faculty, will be involved in Forum meetings. Sponsors will be able to interact with them and have access to their resumes for internship or employment consideration.

As a result, Forum sponsors will be able to:

  • Solve some of their customer value related marketing issues,

  • Keep abreast of current thinking on customer value processes from academe and other firms,

  • Network with other sponsors to learn about them and their processes,

  • Interact with the faculty, doctoral students, and MBA students in the department,

  • Gain personalized assistance in recruiting exceptional candidates from this student pool for internships and employment,

  • Participate in the Integrated Value Chain Visiting Executive Series. September 2002 through April 2003. This can be your choice of an open speaking engagement with faculty, staff, PhD and MBA candidates, and undergraduates at the College of Business Administration or a classroom presentation. This is your opportunity to showcase your company and/or address a specific topic. Please call (865) 974-9491 to schedule your date.
